The issue that is addressed in this article is the relationship that is required from both the coach and the player. The coach should be able to make the exercises enjoyable and be able to see that the player is having a good time while also learning the rules of the game. There should be positive parent involvement also. To show the progression from high school sports and coaching to college sports and coaching. Also talks about how more responsibilities come along with college based sports, and how coaches in college like to have fun, but expect you to be in touch completely with the drills that are being taught at the time. There is also more respect expected in college level.
Something that we have read that relates to this topic would be the student based lesson plans, and the fact that children grow and are expected to be more responsible as they get older while at the same time, having fun.

This is important because children need to have a coach who knows what they are doing, so later on in life growing up they will have been influenced by that one coach that taught them such beneficial tools for future sports. It isn't just about playing a sport and competing against others, it's about being taught by someone who can change your lives and meeting new people.
